Maci Bookout prepares to return to Teen Mom as she graduates from college
Her co-stars have made headlines with prison sentences and porn careers. But as she prepares to return to the spotlight on new MTV reality show Teen Mom OG Maci Bookout has revealed that she is about to graduate from college.
The 23-year-old has been attending Chattanooga State Community College while balancing being a mother and a full-time job as a social media-marketing specialist.
Maci admitted that she was a little worried about returning to reality television on Teen Mom OG.
'I was definitely apprehensive,' she told.
'But I thought it was really cool and all of us are in such different places in our lives that it would be nice for the fans to see how much we have grown.'
Maci became a reality star along with 23-year-old Farrah Abraham, 23-year-old Amber Portwood and 22-year-old Catelynn Lowell on MTV's Teen Mom after appearing on 16 And Pregnant.
The Tennessee native has six-year-old son Bentley with ex-boyfriend Ryan Edwards and announced in December that she was expecting her second child with current boyfriend Taylor McKinney.
Her stormy relationship with Ryan has calmed down since Teen Mom.
And she and Taylor have been making plans for their future together.
'We definitely want to get married and we've talked about it a lot. But we aren't trying to cram it all in at one time. After the baby comes and we get settled in with parenting two children then that will definitely be our next step,' Maci said.
'We don't argue with each other. I guess we just learned it's just not worth the energy, and we've grown up a little bit,' Maci said.
Farrah's wild post-baby life included making a pornographic movie and her return to Teen Mom OG caused drama among her co-stars.
The other one-time teen mothers reportedly objected to Farrah speaking about pornography and stripping around their children.
